Lab Outside

Our mechanical testing laboratory JC Precision Labs (or JPL, named in honor of the famous lab at Caltech, the alma mater of our general manager) is located in our Mito, Kaohsiung facility. This laboratory is able to perform all relevant fastener evaluations, and test products produced either in our Taiwan or China factories.

JC Grand has been A2LA certified since 2007 (testing cert #2677.01). A2LA is a non-profit, public service organization, whose accreditation and regular audits confirm that our laboratory and quality management meet or exceed ISO 17025 criteria for lab competence. Moreover, A2LA requirements and audits are far more stringent than local Taiwan or China certification bodies, specifically CNLA/TAF. Don't accept substitutes!

The fundamental goals of A2LA and their ISO 17025 certification program are to:

  • Achieve customer satisfaction through competent testing and calibration;
  • Improve the quality of laboratories, and the data they produce; and
  • Increase confidence in the integrity of accredited laboratory data to facilitate trade.
