Management Team

James Chen founded JC Grand in 1978 and remains active in company operations as Chairman of the Board. He has over 40 years of international trade experience and remains close to many of his longtime customers. James is an active member of Rotary Club, and served as president of the local Taipei chapter from June 2009 to May 2010. Recently, he was honored with an induction into the prestigious Arch Klumph Society of Rotary International for his leadership and philanthropic activities.

Jon Hodowany joined JC Grand as General Manager in 2005, after 10 years in senior engineering and management positions in the Aerospace and Biotech industries. He began his career at Boeing, contributing on several advanced manufacturing projects before moving into biotech to design and build industrial robotics. Later, he held positions in corporate strategy and business development. Jon has a PhD in mechanical engineering and materials science from California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and a MBA from the University of Washington.

Henry Chen joined JC Grand in 2006 as the head of China operations and is now CFO of the company.  Prior to joining JC Grand, he worked at Union Bank of California's corporate banking division, Kyocera Wireless's business development group, and Hewlett-Packard's financial planning and analysis department. Henry received his BA from University of California, San Diego and his MBA from University of Southern California.
